Cooperation of the project Business Without Borders with other USAID’s projects 31th August

The "Business without Borders" project, that is implemented by the Foundation Business Start Up  Centre, successfully collaborates with five other USAID’s projects: Plastic Recycling Project, Creative Businesses Project, Microfinance Development Credit Authority, Youth Employability Skills Network Activity and Competitiveness Project

 Cooperation with these projects is a step towards greater achievements in the economic growth in the country. Incentives for development of the entrepreneurship in Pelagonia region have been achieved, through sharing ideas, experiences, discovering new possibilities, with each of the projects in their area.

 Through these connections and networking, Business Without Borders is increasingly expanding the circle of projects, institutions, organizations that successfully collaborates with, in the frames of support of small and medium enterprises, and development of entrepreneurship.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

The point of the training held on 19 August 2011, was to bring тхе concepts of CSR to companies from Pelagonia thus to encourage them to take responsibility to society and taking responsibility for the success of their business.

All day training was held in the training room of the Business Incubator - Bitola and attended some 20 representatives from companies, institutions and public enterprises from Pelagonia region (Bitola, Prilep, Mogila, Novaci, Ohrid and even Skopje).

Visit of the Chargé d'Affaires M-r Brian C. Aggeler

On August 4th (Thursday) Chargé d'Affaires of USA in Macedonia M-r Brian C. Aggeler visited the Business Center startups. Together with M-r Brian C. Aggeler, BSC was visited by the Mission Director of USAID in Macedonia Mr. Robert Wuertz, Economic Growth Office Director Mr. Joseph Lessard, and the Regional Manager of the Office of Economic Growth Office, Mrs Tatyana Markovska.

In the frames of this visit was organized "Summer business networking event" which was attended by lot of guests, including Mayor of the Municipality of Novaci, Municipality of Resen, Municipality of Krivogastani, representatives of municipalities from Pelagonia region, representatives from the business sector etc. .. Chargé d'Affaires M-r Brian C. Aggeler together with the representatives from USAID had the opportunity to see how successfully operates the project "Business without Borders" and all activities undertaken to support and develop entrepreneurship.
